Tzatziki sauce


  • 1/2 Cup finely grated cucumber

  • 1 Cup of Greek yogurt

  • 1 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice

  • 1/2 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 4 Roasted garlic cloves ( you can use uncooked garlic, but roasted garlic is amazing)

  • 1/4 Teaspoon seas salt

  • 1 Tablespoon chopped dill

  • 1 Tablespoon chopped mint


  1. Separate some garlic cloves or just simply roast a full head of garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and put into some foil. Set your oven to 180c and roast for 35-45 mins or until soft. Squeeze out the garlic into a bowl and use the back of a fork to mash

  2. Place the grated cucumber on some kitchen towel to remove as much moisture as possible.

  3. In a medium bowl combine cucumber, yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, dill and mint.

  4. Store covered in the fridge until needed
