Amplify your classic roast chicken with a boost of flavour using our seasonings with a hit of buttery goodness



  1. Mix 75g or butter and 1 tablespoon of Soft Coq or Ramrod in a bowl.

  2. Pre heat oven to 210c or set up your BBQ for indirect heat.

  3. Use a spoon and turn upside down and work it around the chicken separating the skin from the flesh.

  4. Spread a layer of spiced butter around the chicken under the skin.

  5. Sprinkle some additional spices on top of the chicken.

  6. Place in oven or BBQ until the juices run clear, or you have a minimum internal temp at the thigh of 165F/73c.

  7. Place on rack on the bench and loosely cover with foil to rest for 10 minutes.
